Between 2017 and 2018:
The number of people living in Australia's Greater Capital Cities increased by 307,800 (or 1.9%).
The number of people living outside capital cities increased by 83,200 (1.0%). Capital city growth accounted for 79% of Australia's total population growth.
...National and State governments have been promoting Business Innovation Visas since 2012, to attract overseas entrepreneurs, high net-worth families and businesses to invest in Australia, thus offering a migration opportunity to these individuals and families, and also generating new jobs within Australia, enhancing the economy of the nation.
However, are these investments in the right businesses?
Are the would-be migrants aware of the various business options in the respective regions?
...Importantly, in the Agreement Paper, please note Article 10.3: Grant of Temporary Entry which states:
1. Each Party shall set out in Annex 10-A the specific commitments it undertakes for each of the categories of natural persons specified by that Party. The Parties may make commitments in respect of the temporary entry of natural persons.
2. Where a Party makes a commitment pursuant to paragraph 1, it shall grant temporary entry or extension of temporary stay to natural persons of the other Party to the extent provided for in that commitment, provided that those natural persons:
