The standard subclass 491 pathway and subclass 190 will not re-open until the 01 February 2021, and new EOIs for the skilled program will not be picked up until this time, so please do not submit an EOI prior to this date. 

491- SBO (Small Business Owner) Pathway

IMPORTANT: Applicants need to submit a 491-SBO Assessment Form prior to submitting an Expression of Interest (EOI), so that your EOI will be picked up.

The Tasmanian Nominated Skilled Migration Program will reopen with updated requirements to general applications on 29 January 2021 at 1pm (AEDT)

Until this time interim program restrictions remain in place

Due to related system maintenance, online application access will be shut down at 5pm (AEDT) 28 January 2021 and all draft applications on-hand will be closed and archived.

Many occupations added to the ACT critical skilled occupation list. 

The ACT critical skilled occupation list was updated yesterday and many occupations were added to the list. Some occupation are currently available only for the 491 visa.

Tasmania has now received its full nomination quota for the 2020 21 program year. The full allocation is made up of:

Subclass 491 - 1400 places
Subclass 190 - 1000 places
Business migration  45 places

Approximately 25% of skilled visa nomination places have been used.
