The Department of Home Affairs ('Home Affairs') has announced a new Skilled Work Regional (Provisional) visa (subclass 491) to replace the current Skilled Regional (Provisional) visa (subclass 489).

The new subclass 491 visa ('491 visa') will commence on 16 November 2019, and the subclass 489 visa ('489 visa') will cease at 11.59 pm on 15 November 2019.

Skilled Regional (Provisional) Visa (Subclass 489) Central West nominations are currently closed again due to the high number of registrations we have received.

At this time we are unable to advise when nominations will reopen.

If you have already submitted your registration it will be assessed and RDACW will provide an email notification to individuals and Migration Agents if the ‘Registration of Interest’ was not successful on this occasion. 

If successful you will receive an Invitation to apply.

The SA Visitor Economy Sector Plan (the Plan) seeks to continue a strong momentum and unprecedented growth for the next decade and sets a bold ambition of growing the Visitor Economy yet further to $12.8b by 2030, generating an additional 16,000 jobs in South Australia.

This will result in significant, long term impacts upon the South Australian economy, driving wealth creation, investment and a well deserved sense of pride in the State.
