On a monthly basis a set number of EOIs are selected from SkillSelect to receive an invitation to apply for State nomination. WA Migration Services will contact you via email with a link to the State nomination application form if you are invited. EOIs are selected based on the following ranking system.

1 Applicants eligible for the general stream by highest points score.

2 Applicants eligible for the graduate stream by;

    a if you have completed a PhD or Masters qualification in Western Australia at
       a Western Australian university, that includes 2 years of full time study:
    b if you have completed a Honours degree or other higher degree in Western 
       Australia at a Western Australian university, that includes 2 years full time
       study:

    c if you have completed a Bachelor degree in Western Australia at a Western             Australian university, that includes 2 years full time study:

    d the highest amount of Australian work experience in their nominated or closely

       related occupation:
    e the highest level of English language proficiency; and
    f the highest total SkillSelect points score.

If you qualify for both the general and the graduate stream, you will be offered an invitation through the general stream in the first instance.

If multiple EOIs are ranked at the same level, invitations will be issued based on the EOI submission date.

Invitations are anticipated to be issued on the third Thursday of each month.

Invitations for the April 2019 round are anticipated to be issued by 11 April 2019, due to the Easter holiday closure.
