Business Advisory / Defence Panel

If you are insured with Migration Alliance's Professional Indemnity Insurance you are entitled to free advice, not involving a significant time commitment on the part of the member firm, from the BusinessGuard Advisory Panel.

Migration Alliance's Insurer consents to you appointing any approved panel member firm to act on your behalf in respect of any Claim against you by, for example by the MARA, DIAC or a client. Contest claims and complaints with confidence. Be secure in the knowledge that you have a Migration Alliance Panel behind you to protect and support you. "Defence Costs” is includes any reasonable fees, costs and expenses incurred by or on your behalf in the investigation, defence, settlement or appeal of any complaint against you by any statutory or professional body which has jurisdiction to inquire or adjudicate in any such matter.

As a Migration Alliance insured migration agent, you may access the services of the BusinessGuard Advisory Panel by contacting the firms listed at www.aig.com.au. Migration Alliance will soon be updating this page with the details of all Panel Members, some of whom will be your favourite specialist immigration lawyers, so that you can select someone directly from this page to defend you and protect you.

Court Attendance

For any person described in (i) and (ii) below who actually attends court as a witness in connection with a Claim notified under and covered by this policy, Defence Costs will be covered per day on which attendance in court has been required: (i) for any migration agent principal, partner, or director Insured (ii) for any Employee of a migration agent
